Alumni XI is an alternative rap artist from Cincinnati blending hip-hop, lo-fi textures, and trap with emotionally raw, unfiltered lyricism. His sound lives in contrast—distortion and clarity, anger and reflection, pain and the quiet presence of hope.

After losing his mother to cancer at 19 and experiencing the deaths of close friends, music stopped being expression and became survival. Time spent in mental health institutions further shaped his perspective, leaving a permanent imprint on how he writes—honest, fragmented, and rooted in reality.

He began at 13 creating bass-boosted edits and transitioned into producing by 17, gradually building a sound defined by isolation, emotion, and intensity. His music doesn’t hide from grief, trauma, or depression—it confronts them directly, without filters or illusions.

The name Alumni XI represents transformation: a graduate of pain, loss, and self-destruction—still standing, still creating. XI symbolizes new beginnings, duality, and the ongoing choice to move forward, even when it’s difficult.
